Barkman Family

This has to be one of my favorite families to take pictures of. They always look top notch and they are really fun to follow around for an hour or so. Even though their littlest one was being kind of "silly" (but any kid under 3 has an agenda all their own), we managed to snag a few keepers.
This is a great time for family portraits, even though some fall days that are supposed to be in the 70's end up in the upper 80's. For this session they wanted more of an urban feel, so we met in downtown Minneapolis by the riverfront.

The coolest kid shoes I have ever seen!

Steve & Katie

Steve and Katie had a lovely wedding in Chanhassen (at St. Huberts), followed by a quick stop at Sunsets on Lake Minnetonka for some awesome pictures. Then off to The Reserve in Plymouth for a fabulous reception. They were really fun to work with! My second shooter (Glenda) was there for the ceremony and into the reception, capturing some great moments.

The first meeting...

Glenda caught them coming down the isle.
And again at the alter (this is why a second shooter is soooo nice to have, especially at a Catholic wedding where the photographers are usually NOT allowed to move around).
Since I had to be closer to the front for "the kiss", Glenda was able to be in position to get them coming up the isle.

I believe this one is Glenda's as well.

Christy & Olaf Engagement Session

Here are a few shots from their engagement session this past weekend at Blackhawk Park in Eagan. Can't wait for the wedding next year...
