Nate & Ashley

Nate and Ashley's wedding was amazing. After the ceremony I headed to Minneapolis City Hall to get a few shots of the reception before the guests arrived. Then the church "party" bus (straight from the 60's, I loved it!) picked me up to get to the riverfront for a few more shots. We did have to accommodate about 4 other bridal parties with the same idea though. From there it was back to City Hall (just before it rained) for the reception.

Nate was kind enough to act as a stand in assistant...

I LOVE this shot!

Eric & Trisha

A lovely wedding at Stonebrooke Golf Course in Shakopee, on a beautiful "summer" September weekend. Trisha was a beautiful bride, who loved getting her picture taken. Eric, wasn't so much for the picture thing... but he did let me keep a camera on him for about 1,000 shots (maybe 2,000 if you combine it with Glenda's coverage as well).

Here is the "behind the scenes" shot from the one above courtesy of Glenda.

We ended up getting in trouble (more than once) for being on the rocks at Stonebrooke, which is a bummer since you can get some really cool shots up there. Here, they might actually be looking at the coordinator telling them to GET DOWN!

Barkman Family

This has to be one of my favorite families to take pictures of. They always look top notch and they are really fun to follow around for an hour or so. Even though their littlest one was being kind of "silly" (but any kid under 3 has an agenda all their own), we managed to snag a few keepers.
This is a great time for family portraits, even though some fall days that are supposed to be in the 70's end up in the upper 80's. For this session they wanted more of an urban feel, so we met in downtown Minneapolis by the riverfront.

The coolest kid shoes I have ever seen!
