The Paulus Family... All of them.

Remember that snow storm a few weeks back? The one that dumped about 18 inches of snow? That happened to be the exact same day the Paulus' scheduled their family portrait session... back in September. What are the odds? Since some of them were from out of town (Florida), it had to continue as planned.
I love doing these "generational" photo's. It's always nice seeing a big family come together and piecing together their family tree. Sometimes it's quite amazing to see how many grand kids come into the picture.

The Crow Family

I've been slacking off on the blog recently... but in my defense, December is a busy month for me and the family. We have 2 birthdays and of course Christmas. Not to mention the fact that I love going sledding with my kids, and the weather has been perfect for that recently.
So back to business for today, here is the Crow Family... all of them. I will be shooting Kelly's wedding next year and these are her parents and siblings... and sibling-in-laws.
We were granted access to the University of St. Thomas' Catholic Studies building, a fabulous venue!

The Hixson Family - Christmas Portraits

I had a couple of extended family sessions to do over the Thanksgiving weekend. The Hixson family here is made up of 4 separate families, all back for the holiday. So they capitalized on that time to get all the grand kids in one place and snap a few frames.

The Peters Family.... ALL of them.

I've been having quite a few more large family session requests lately. It is a great way to get everyone together, especially when it involves grand kids which was the case for the Peters family. It's almost impossible to jam this many people into a studio, and most studio set a limit on the number of people in each shot... not me.
