Ken & Lauren - Stonebrooke Wedding Reception

Ken and Lauren had a destination wedding on 10-10-10, but decided to have their "hometown reception" at Stonebrooke Golf Course in Shakopee at the end of October. They put on a wonderful reception, and they both looked fantastic!

They were quite good sports to walk around outside just before dusk for some pictures. It felt
so much colder to them after just getting back from such a nice climate.

Abbott Family

I haven't had a chance to post this one yet. It was one of favorite family sessions just before the "cold snap". Their boys were a blast, so full of energy and personality! Some of my favorite family shots of the year came from this hour long session, here are a few of them below.

Chris & Alissa - Wedded Bliss

Chris and Alissa were married last weekend at Hope Lutheran Church in Jordan with the reception at Brackett's Crossing Country Club in Lakeville. They choose to get ready at the fabulous Schumachers in New Prague. They are a terrific couple and very easy to photograph. Fortunately the weather worked out perfectly for them. The rain held off until the ceremony, then it stopped just afterwords for a few fall color shots outside of Brackett's (an amazing venue, a very modern and upscale country club).

Her dad had a terrific 1947 Chevy that we used as a back drop to a few shots, and that they used to drive to the ceremony in. Unfortunately the rain got in the way of one shot we had planned... just the two of them, on a country road, with the truck.

This is the funniest "bustling shot" I taken in a while. I can't get over how many hands are busy at work here!

The gold ring in the shot below, dates back to the late 1800's!!!!

Bill Hermann was the master of ceremonies / DJ for their reception. He did a wonderful job keeping the crowd entertained and the dance floor hopping!
