Will & Carolyn

I had a great time with Will & Carolyn this past weekend, just outside of St. Cloud. They had a beautiful ceremony in Cold Spring, followed by the reception in St. Joseph. Unfortunately, the weather was a little chilly... and rainy, which cut into most of the outdoor shots. We headed over to a golf course from the church but only managed one shot before the rain came. Then on the way to the reception, I told them just to stop as soon as we drove out of the rain. But there's not much between Cold Spring and St. Joesph, so all the cars that passed us thought we were nuts (including the Sheriff!). In the end, we ended up with some really cool "county" shots!

Brea & Andrew

Even though this was a rather dry summer, 2 of the 3 weddings that were supposed to have out door ceremonies were rained out completely. This was also the case with Brea and Andrews wedding last weekend. But they didn't let that bother them, the wedding was moved inside at Kilkarney Hills Golf Club in River Falls, WI. And their wedding was perfect! The rain finally let up right before sunset, which allowed us the perfect opportunity for some amazing outdoor shots!
Brea and Andrew, you were very laid back, and it was a blast to work with you both!

Catherine & Steve Engagement

I have to send out a big Thank You to Steve and Catherine for driving all the way in from Fargo for this session (which made me feel really special!). Steve worked till 8 on Saturday night, then they drove 4 hours to the cities and we met at 9am on Sunday for the session. After which they had to drive all the way back for work! Fortunately the weather was in our favor, and we were able to get some nice pictures. I look forward to your wedding next October!!!
