Amber and Jim were married on a wet Saturday in April at the Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club. It was probably one of the most interesting "getting ready" periods of any wedding I have shot. With 6 kids all needing to get "fancied up" and STAY "fancied up", I have never had so much fun... or for that matter, answered so many "what's that for?" questions.
Amber and Jim both looked fabulous and had a lovely ceremony and reception. I wish you both, and your new family, many happy years!

Published - MN Bride
Check out the 2012 issue of the MN Bride Resource Guide (or see the full digital version here)... it is a marvelous publication for anyone planing a wedding! I was doing back flips (in my mind) when I found out that I had been published on the COVER and 5 separate pages!

Kim & Rob - St Paul Engagement Photography
Como Park in St Paul is normally a busy place on any given weekend... but, the day that Kim and Rob were in town for their engagement pictures it was CRAZY! The weather was supposed to be fantastic - which brought everyone to the park, but then it turned out to be way colder - which brought EVERYONE inside.
Our plan was to meet at Como and get some color/greenery shots, and then head outside and into St Paul for some downtown stuff. We had to plan the shots quite carefully and take advantage of the "waves" of people. In the end, it appears as though we were the only ones there... well almost :)
Kim and Rob were great sports, it's not easy working around that many people.
See what I mean... this is what it looked like everywhere! Anyone that has ever taken a picture at Como knows you can't use a tripod, or lights, or disrupt the public.

Cassie & Steve - Minneapolis Engagement Photographer
I had a great time with Cassie and Steve last weekend, wondering around Minneapolis. Although the weather was 20 degrees colder than predicted (thanks Meteorologists!), the lighting was absolutely perfect.
Can't wait for their wedding this November.
